Since we polled "How fast is your boat"? How bout "How Quick is your Car,Motorcycle,Truck, snowmobile?" 1/4 ET times only (snowmobiles take 1/8 mile time and add 3 seconds or take 500 ft time and add 4 seconds)

My poll is 7.85 et.........I know there are some big dogs out there.......we may have to classify between dragster, doorslammer, motorcycle and snowmobile..........

I no longer own it but when I had my 1987 Buick Grand national I was turning 11's and was supposed to be down in to the 10's but blew the engine and never was able to get back the track to prove my 10 sec capablilities.

That's what I got when I drove it..... The owner(my father-in-law) says it'll hit the .50's with the new motor.... I'll see......

Yes they are great cars.. Spanked plenty of cars with mine and even had a couple ladies spank me in the car... Love that full size back seat and the room to carry a plenty spare clothes in the truck.

'75 Plyouth Duster,440 auto,4.11 in a 9",S/S springs, etc. Took me long enough to get in the 11's. Did it with a hydraulic cam and stock heads.
'74 Duster,340,auto,3.91's in a 8 3/4. 12.50's all day long. Hydraulic cam and X-heads.
Working on getting a 71-72 Dart/Scamp so's I can build a S/B stroker, 4 speed car to run around with. May set it up for road racing.

Here is my last time slip I got. My street Camaro has a 406 small block with World 220 Motown heads, Hooker headers, Victor JR., Holley 800, NOS Cheater system, Turbo 400 with a manual valve body, 4500 10" converter and 3.43 stock Borg Warner rear. It ran this time on 9.5 x 29.5 Mickey Thompson slicks and NOS set at 150 HP. With some 4.56 gears and a little more NOS it should be in the 10's easy. My number is 1510. :)

stang....that's sweet man...I'm into mustangs hardcore (of course being a college student I don't have a ride like that  ). I'm at Kansas State Univ. right now...what kinda job pulled you away from a ride like that  ? Do you have any other stangs...daily drivers and such? That's sweet...I saw that article.

it would run 9.0's at 149mph in the 1/4 and 5.71 at 125mph in the 1/8. that was with stock suspension and a powerglide on MT 28x10.5's. that was with a carbrated 351ci w/ nos. i built a victor headed 418ci that i never got a chance to run, but i'm guessing it would have run low 8's at around 160mph.

where are you getting the 3 seconds added to the 1/8 mile, that not even close to a 1/4 ET.

to get CLOSE to an accurate 1/4 time from and 1/8 time.. multiply the 1/8 time by 1.57 and you will be CLOSE.. hope this helps, awesome cars guys!

I've got a 97 Honda Blackbird motorcycle--1100 cc's with aftermarket turbo and header. Racerx ran it once last year at the strip and turned low 10's. Wheelied the whole quarter which is an ongoing problem with stock wheelbase. At Daytona's bikeweek, we put it on V-Twin Magazines simulated dragstrip. All strapped down with no wheelie worries, it ran 8.55 @ 160mph. With it's 230 hp and some dial-in, breaking into the 9's on a real quarter should be easy. And it still has Honda reliability.
