Hey all!

After 2 years lurking and hanging with the LTB crew at Lake Tarpon I finally got a boat.
Big shout out to Toyomirage02, BeefKid , and Baja200Merk for all the advice and help in making the first boat a reality. I met a few others at Reedies gathering a few months ago.

Went with a Hydrostream Valero YT blue white and gray, 2.5 merc 150. Currently running 84mph.
Fun ride, and handles great, loving the boat so far.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of you all at future events.

Wife is eyeballing a Mirage to add to the starter collection, she loved Toyomirage02 ride he gave her. (this could get expensive, like a diease these boats :)

He was at my shop yesterday, we noticed how nice an E-tec would match his soon to be new ride :thumbsup:

Crank is getting fixed and havent had a minute to look at the block. I was building a 200 and I was going to run it till mine was done but the 200 sold before its even together... So much for that... My chit on the back burner as usual.... 8 hours of work gonna take 8 weeks before I touch it :rolleyes:

Bummer I don't know much about the Johnsons we got a 225 vro up here at the shop its a 25'' i dont know what he would take for it but it does run good had it on a used boat and some guy bought the boat and had a 150 he wanted to put on it so we kept the motor not sure johnsons line up like the mercs

Find out what he wants for it. I cant use it on the race boat (different adapter plate, driveshaft, harness ETC) but I could use it for my deck boat :thumbsup:

I will let ya know tomorrow and speaking of deck boats I rigged a 20'' 200 vmax on one monday a 20' hurricane had to run it as the motor had been at the shop for 3 years nothing wrong with it at all had never seen ethanol but man that thing spun a 4 blade 19 5800 and I mean quick plenty of motor on that turd with the old teleflex single cable squirrely as hell

My 92 245 HP had .072" mains, .034" progression and .052" idle air. Accel pump style.
Note in my manual says non pump style have .068" mains, .050" progression, and .070" idle air.

I have 3 of them sitting here. None fit on the current configuration without more work then I have time for. Plus I hate creating work, as soon as the new crank is back it will go back together never to be taken apart again :p.

I left it bone stock so I didnt have to touch it and it still broke :mad: In my own defense, surprisingly it wasnt my fault.

After 2 years lurking and hanging with the LTB crew at Lake Tarpon I finally got a boat.
Big shout out to Toyomirage02, BeefKid , and Baja200Merk for all the advice and help in making the first boat a reality. I met a few others at Reedies gathering a few months ago.

Went with a Hydrostream Valero YT blue white and gray, 2.5 merc 150. Currently running 84mph.
Fun ride, and handles great, loving the boat so far.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of best buy gift card glitch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya1O1J_QgwE) you all at future events.

Wife is eyeballing a Mirage to add to the starter collection, she loved Toyomirage02 ride he gave her. (this could get expensive, like a diease these boats :)
