Having a few issues with my C3, it was ok for a few months, water started getting intermittents, [on,off,on] and getting hot, up to 100c.
Tryied putting the ear muffs on and on the hose, at idle its bairly running water out the outlet, when throttle flicked it will give abit of a squirt but not a continues flow like it should.
Pulled the leg off and water pump impellor was ok, water pump seemed ok.
Put some compressed air into the outlet tube and blocked off the water tube that the water pump feeds with my finger and could hear the air coming out of the exhaust tuble.
Doesnt sound right to me is it possible that its a blown gasket [head or powerhead] or corroded head or hole in the block between water and exhaust?
There is also a grey sludge in exhaust tube, im guessing the water and oil have mixed?

Any one care to way in, its a tohatsu 25/30 hp if that helps.
Im thinking possibly that the powerhead gaskets crook and thats allowed pressure water and exhaust to mix giving me the sludgy exhaust and pressue in the water pressure lines?
