is it safe to use tubes inside tubeless tires ?....tires are new.....I have a rim air leak with a aluminum styled factory rim ....the vehicle is a chevy astro.....thanks....bob

They make a sealant for that problem. I have it on my alum trailer rims to keep salt water out of the area to prevent corrosion .But it is meant for sealing problem rims. Black goopy looking stuff. Tire dealer should know about it. Have used RVT silicone on ATV rims in a pinch also...

If the hole is .25in or smaller I have had great luck with Slime. We use it on all our off road rigs and I use it in all my tires. It is nonflamable so will not be a problem when changing tires. You can buy it at Wall Mart. Gary

Glue the bead . If that does not work get a rim .. Pain in the azz with tubes and sucks when ya pick a nail up and can not plug . I use rope plugs all the time with no issues

Tubeless tires also can get hot and blow with a tube in them....
