You'll find a few people here who constantly want to find some reason to find fault or be critical of almost any and everything. You'll also find in most cases they have no actual hands on experience with what they want to comment on. These people often don't even have a boat and are just looking for attention. Thus the reason they hide behind the anonymity of this board rather than simply contact us or any other professional company directly. This is just something we have to bear with in this modern age of technology. In many instances you might be surprised to find the person making the most critical comment or attempting to ask the most "intellectual" questions may very well be some immature 16 year old with nothing more than a computer or smart phone. Therefore I highly suggest you take any information you gather on this board with a grain of salt and when that comment comes from someone who wants to remain anonymous. You'll often realize they have a hidden agenda and a reason for hiding.

Interesting. Nice so see so much faith put into our members. Pure class... NOT!

Who is it, Paul, and in what context was this comment made?

I"ll say I have to agree with parts of his observations.

Fortunately this only applies to a small handful on this board.

Yea, I probably took it out of context. ;) And I didn't include all of the quote. It was made in a response to a valid question. No harsh words or accusations were made by the inquiring party.

Not going to include a name in fear of disciplinary actions.

Noah Legear wrote that. Can't remember where I read it on here. I've never had any dealings with him but I have read a lot of his post and he seems to have quite the chip on his shoulder.

I suppose it's a bit harsh, however some people can get into no-so-great moods or become frustrated. Maybe this person was having a bad day, I don't know.

You'll find a few people here who constantly want to find some reason to find fault or be critical of almost any and everything.

I would also say Paul, that you've been witness many, many times to personal attacks against myself for no other reason simply to try to ruin my day. I've seen many comments made on how I supposedly run this site from people that have no facts or experience. Many people will first cause trouble on the boards (in many cases, not intentionally though) if they have an issue, then maybe contact me after their storm is in full swing. Regardless, I would always do my best to help anybody equally. It's hard for me to sometimes keep up with all of the messages I get, which is why I say that if you do not get a reply from me in a timely manner, please remind me or email me directly, which is always the best thing to do.

Unfortunately, this is the internet and this sort of thing will happen on any message board, not here. And you're also aware that most of the people that enjoy causing trouble almost never reveal their real names. We've all seen it. I would also like to point out that I feel that the vast majority - probably 99% of our members are genuinely kind-hearted people that really like this place and helping others.

It is always the very few troublemakers that draw the most attention and subsequently hurt the reputations of others. I don't know who that Supporting Vendor is, but let's cut him some slack - sometimes the Supporting Vendors deal with a lot of issues.

First, this thread was in no way directed at you, Greg, or Scream and Fly. A lot of folks figured out who it was just by his nasty attitude. I thought it was out off line, nasty, hateful, and unbecoming of a vendor. BUT it was in character. I ran across it looking at parts for sale and thought it was totally out of line, hence my reason for posting it.

Feel free to spoof this thread if deemed too controversial. Won't bother me a bit. :)

unfortunately there is some truth in what he (the Vendor) wrote. I am well aware of his reputation and remember some of the earliest rants posted (they were kinda kooky).

OK Paul, I found the post you're talking about. It sure does seem to be off on a tangent, and directed at no one in particular.
Now I understand.

So just because a kid only has a smartphone or computer, he's not allowed to ask questions? Poke your head into a forum on OLD EFI tuning in cars, and there are tons of people who are willing to take time to answer the questions of "some immature 16 year old" tuning his 1985 V6 Camaro for his junkyard turbo setup.

No wonder hot boats are dying with arrogant cockbags like this roaming around.

The best vendors let their quality work/abilities/customer relations do the talking for them. Some supporting vendors on here have never had a bad word said against them that I have seen. Others are flamed for good reason apparently.
