Got to camp down in the glades twice this winter/spring. Thought I would share a few pics. First trip was to willy willy and the second was on hog key.

My parts guy just did the everglades challenge in a kayak from Ft desoto to Key Largo, he had a transponder on him and we tracked him through all the everglades, he has a bunch of cool pictures and vids, I use to fish down at Chokoloskee 15-20 years ago, miss that area, Just watched Seminole wind on youtube, I need to get back down there some time, Matt

thats awesome. One night at willy willy, two guys paddle up and said it was day 12 on their journey. they began in flamingo and were going all the way to chokoloskee! If you wannt a buddy boat, we usually go in november or december once it starts to cool off.

Thanks Tom. You are welcome to join us anytime. :) I will confess there are times when the bugs are downright horrific. That's when the right gear and staying in the tent really pay off. Thermacells, deet, mosquito hoods, etc. More deet.
