I have a Dutchman 16'. They were built off a Schultze tunnel hull. I know the Dutchman is capable of speeds of high 70's to low 80's with single inline and high 80's to 90's with twin inlines. They have been run many times with v-6's but they were not designed for this weight and power. Like any tunnel, they can become very dangerous at high speeds. I have only read about the Magnums and I know they are a different hull but I think about the same things I mentioned hold true.

Paint???? Its called "petina". That way it's worth more than just saying I'm too busy to get around to painting it. :D. As far as rare , I'm waiting to see one of those brand new carbon, balsa cored models.

no need to explain patina to me. i own several of the roughest boats on this forum :) Im just making the statement if it were to be repainted I would do the same as it sits.

The only difference I can recall was the Magnums were a little easier to blow over while the Dutchmans had a kind of "stumble" and would suddenly lose lift and drop the nose.

Picture looks similar to the G.W. Invader Tunnel, The Torpedo I believe it was called.

Another tunnel, but I think the GW I tunnel was later, lighter and a little more modern on the sponson shape. Didn't Baja make one too?
