Powerhead testing ?

Guys I have recently put my powerhead back together . I would like to test it before I put it back on the boat . Is there away to test it without bolting it back to midsection? Just didnt want to bolt her up and have troubles . Thanks in advance

What was wrong with it ? Best way is bolt it on the boat .. Make sure it runs on hose .. Pumps water , check time ... Then to the water .. Do not run long on hose .. Two stokes need to work to build heat . But do not over work
