I understand the impact on our economy and I gladly welcome most people to Florida, however for my own selfish and varying reasons, it will be nice to see things less crowded and busy for a little while.

There used to be a lot of snow birds around here back when it was more of a summer community and taxes were cheap. So many people commute to NYC from here now the taxes and homes are kinda steep to do that anymore.

I stopped at Colerain RV yesterday looking for a fitting for my Houseboat. Damn that place is HUGE and busy as hell. You would not have known that those things are north of $100 grand. Maybe they are bringing the motor homes north to trade in on new ones. I bet they have a staff of 30 or so between sales, technicians ect.

You should have seen the Northbound lanes of 75 on Saturday when they shut down everything due to a fire at Sun City. Motor homes for as far as the eye could see.
