I dont win any races but i like the bigger scale stuff. Building as much as running.
Just finished this A Box hull and ready for a Gizmo motor. Put a pecan veneer deck on it.
other is a proboat I got that was never used but needed a complete CG change and
lots of engine upgrades.
Fun.!

back in the early 1990's, I went with A&M Mathe engines out of England. The version I have produced 9.5hp at 19,000 RPM on racing fuel, no nitro. They were used in Europe on V-bottom and round bottom boats.

Pretty sweet, the issue back then was getting prop's big enough to handle all that power. Built two hulls, both 1/5 scale versions of Unlimited Hydro's. I never finished the second hull, I still have it sitting in my shop. If anyone has interest, they can pick it up cheap.

Hulls a, engines and props have come a long way . Gas boats are running well these days . Jims RC Boat Dock is the best place to sell your equipment as thew forums are very active .
