27 degree timing

Have a 2.5 Mercury 200 with 100-120 lbs compression, would it be safe to run max timing @ 27*. Have been running 25* with 91 gas.

That's pushing it go to 93 or higher or just stay with 25 and keep your engine running if you want more cut the heads and go for race fuel just my thoughts

Don't even try it, you can get away with to much timing in a 4 stroke but not in a 2 stroke.
