I would like to welcome anyone that is interested to come join us on Feb. 8th for the second Indiana Performance Boaters Club meeting. We intend to begin organizing this club at this meeting. If you would like to be involved with what appears to be a GREAT group of people, come join us in the fellowship of boating.

We want this club to be a fun family invironment. It is not our intent to be a racing club but more of a Hot Boat club. Our intentions are to have one event a month for probably 11 months out of the year. We have many ideas and a good core group of members but would like many many more. The more the marrier.

We would like to hear from you if you are interested. You may email me at Miragebts@aol.com. We intend to have this meeting at a hotel where we can meet, eat, have a cold beverage or hot, hopefully enjoy the pool and talk about boats until the WEEE MORNING HOURS then get up in the mornig and talk boats a little more. Please send your name, address, phone number & your meeting location preferance. The meeting location choices are:

1) Elkhart, IN
2) Fort Wayne, IN
3) Indianapolis, IN

We would like to begin setting a schedule of events and where we want to go to boat. I know there are many people in this area, don't be shy. Please give us some kind of a head count so we know how many people to prepair for and also if you intend to stay the night. We will arrange for a group rate and follow up with additional information by 1/18/02.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

Thanks,

Brad Collins

That's where Brad lives and he is the only one willing to take on this monumental of a responsibility!!
I've been thinking and talking about doing this almost as long as Brad has, but I also understand the amount of time, work and money it takes to make something like this work.
I don't have enough of any.
I am checking my schedule Brad and if I don't have a conlict I am going totry and make it.
And I vote for Indy
Thanks for doing this Brad!

I'm not in this alone. This kind of thing can't happen without the support of many. I have a feeling that I will be pretty involved and am looking forward to it.

Load up the "Tow Pig" and come on, I'll buy your gas and make sure you have something to drink--after the meeting. This woud be an excelent time for everyone to get out of the CABIN for an evening of fun.

I dont care where you have the meeting . Any of the places you mentioned would be ok by me. Anything to maybe forget about this winter s#%t for a while and get together with people who understand performance boating.

You already know that I'm a driving fool, so I don't care where you have the meeting. Indy sounds fine to me.

I would also be willing to offer others coming from north of Milwaukee a chance to park and drive in with me. Still have the Yukon-XL, so 6 to 7 adults ride in comfort. I'll keep an eye on this thread. Heck; last guy I know started a Hot Boat Club went out and bought a Harley and I know it wasn't to pull his Ally! But then, you have BK to keep you in line.

By the time you get the first event planned, you could promote it by advertising to come and see "EDDIE MUNSTER drive his STV at 100 MPH+" My hairline out to look about perfect for that promo! Who could we use for Herman in the picture? Do we need a poll? Hehehe!

I will see who I can attract from my area.
Same as offer as Nick also.
Tow Pigg II has seating for 8 or 6 and a cooler:D
I will be heading over from Cols Ohio so anyone coming through is welcome to jump in at my place.
Nick, promise me you'll be wearing a hat at the meetiong:D

You guys are celeberties. Gary will have some valuable input on organizing events and Nick can give a siminar on head work and improving performance with porting. We welcome you guys and everyone else. I know we are going to have a good time. Be sure to bring ideas of where we want to go and what we want to do as a group. I am not very familiar with the waters in this area yet and I certainly don't know all of the good hang outs.

Regarding events, does everyone like to camp or stay in hotels or a little of both?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Brad Collins
