Hi guys putting it out there on any interest on Intercom helmets l am currently in the process of developing for all us race boaters.. I have started from a helmet we currently use over here then modified to suit what works best, aerodynamically and communication perfection!!

The helmets will work with most amps on the market today with the addition of an adaptor cable from the helmet to what ever amp you run..
Or a complete package can be supplied with helmets and the Peltor FMT120 amp including helmet bags.
Headsets inside the helmets are a local (Australian) built system that is made from aviation equipment used by all our V8 Supercar pit crews (absolute worst conditions for noise) Google Aussie V8Supercars AWSOME stuff!!!!
Helmets have built in ear muffs like Stilo and Peltor.
The helmets will have the Snell SA2010 approval carried out in California.
We are currently also working on digitol communicaton between boat driver/observer and crew on the shore.

What l will also be looking for is serious dealers located in the USA that will carry and support my products, so if anyone is interested or know of boat equipment dealers that would be keen, please email me at dtgenterprises@dodo.com.au (dtgenterprises@dodo.com.au)
Any feedback would also be good..

Thanks guys
Dave G

Hope you guys can support me to get these things going, we are pushing for absolute crystal clear communication upto 110mph

That my be a tuff market here in the U.S.Its hard enough to get our guys to wear a good jacket.A helmet may be over the top! there are coms here that are used for snowmobiles, that work well for boaters, and there cheap. You may have a market for the racing only group, but that market may not support the investment of R&D.But then again the world is a "very big market" JMO

Very nice. Have you figured out a price?

Yes have turned out perfect... I have pretty much come up with prices, just depending on what people want..

Helmet only (including earmuffs) AU$425
Helmet including Peltor designed head sets AU$725
2 x Helmets with complete Peltor comm AU$2K
1 x Helmet 2 x Peltor handsets 1 x Peltor headset (for crew) and all wiring. POA

An option for you guys is to purchase all the Peltor gear from the US as you can get it cheaper then us, though the headsets for the helmets have been moulded to fit my helmet here so unless you can mess around with wiring may be the option to buy the helmet with comm gear included..

If you know of a dealer that could be interested in stocking my helmets over there, please let them know to contact me..

A cap may be great and well design only for safety purpose. There are coms here that are utilized for snowmobiles that work well for boaters and cheaper. You might have a business for the dashing. (http://www.gcdex.com.au)

Nice looking setup, but I wouldn't consider anything less than full face myself. I run a PCI setup in my helmet, with a boat kit with remote PTT that connects to Motorola 2-prong (3.5mm/2.5mm) connector radios.
