is this an old boat builders plant?

in sarasota on vacation and came across what looks like an old boat plant? anybody know anything about this place.its huge. sign said scarab hydro sport sea swirl wellcraft .pic is of i guess a little test pit they would ride boats in .had ramp and lift into it.its right behind sarasota airport .was just curious:)http://i50.tinypic.com/scyssi.jpghttp://i46.tinypic.com/2wn3dz9.jpg

Believe that was wellcrafts shop for some years. Went outta bus in the 90's

Pretty sure that is Wellcraft, Donzi was right down the street, and as far as I know Innovation marine is still there. Ryan Beckly would know for sure.

Thats one of the Welcraft plants. The also built Hydro Sport there. They have/had a couple other plants in that area

Yep, been there a few times... Last time I was there it was HS and that pond was full of those nasty Tilapia !!!

there's a chris craft plant also , but i cant tell if its open either. everything looks a little quiet down here. im not used to it...but im going fishing there now....lol thanks adam
