More than likely, the missile will tip over on the the launch pad, obliterate half the country (which will make it the same as the rest of the country), and somehow the US will be blamed for it.

While I would hate to see any loss of life here due to something like that, I think it would be interesting to play a little game of dodgeball when they send over a couple birdies, and we return serve with a flock that would block out the sun. Pretty sure the rest of the participants would fall in line rather quickly.

It's really still in testing and development. Only about 50% success rate so far, it's not a realistic defense yet.
