Here are a few updated pictures. The latest thing I needed to design was a built in ice chest (my wife absolutely insisted!!!).

The deck was cut and the prefabricated box was dropped in.

The second picture is with an fiberglass insert that was designed by using the actual ice chest as a mold and covering it with fiberglass...it is removeable.

this is with the ice chest inside. The lid uses hidden hinges and the whole thing is faired into the deck.

The rear portion of the boat was a complete refabrication including swim steps, closed splashwell, sun deck and ski pole.

Looking good, alot of work done. When is going to be all one color?

will it be one color?

Right after it gets flipped for the new pad, which will be approximately 6' x 14" wide and notched about 5" from the transom. The stationary setback is 15" so combined it will have a 20" setback...

It's been a lot of work, but most of it has been pretty fun.

I want to run the original engine (2.4) when it's ready to go back in the water. It will be interesting to note any performance increase and handling characteristics after all the changes.

Not sure what it weighs...there is a public scale near my home, I'll probably take it when it's done.

The dash of my rig has a built in ice chest that drains the water out the side of the boat. No water sloshing around just coool cool ice.

boats looking great but isn't that a little to far to grab a cold one! and looks like you have a nice sub box built in. what you planning on using?

My son sits in the front and is in charge of delivering all the cold drinks...and the ice chest comes out and you can place it anywhere you want...best of both worlds kinda thing.

The cutouts are not for subs...they are component 6 1/2" Vifa with separate tweeters...the front of the boat has two more boxes that are hidden underneath the top deck with the same arrangement.
