A friend and neighbor had to test the laws strength last year when two guys tried to break into his place. He was cleared of any wrongdoing, but was real upset that he was going to jail. If the crap hits the fan, 911 first, lawyer second, friends for support next.....No matter what time of day or night it is.

1. Call 911
2. Officer this person attacked me, I will sign the complaint,
3. Officer here is the evidence (knife, gun, ball bat, whatever).
4. Officer these are the witnesses.
5. Officer you will have my full cooperation in 24 hrs after I see my attorney.

CDave, that was a great video, thanks for sharing. VERY important to be the one calling 911. One thing they omitted, only answer the questions asked, no more.

Now all they need to do is drop the charges against Zimmerman. What a freaking witch hunt that has turned out to be. They are still putting up pictures of that thug from when he was 12.
I follow the advice of a local attorney here, "You have the right to remain silent, USE IT"!!

They don't bring that up until after you say something incriminating and arrest you, you gotta remain silent to begin with.... just the facts.... he came at me with a weapon, I shot him. Here's my gun, there's his weapon, no one else involved. 'nuff said
