Just checking to see how many of our fellow hot boaters play around on the asphalt as well. Some of us have acquired some late model hot rods to play with and our next get together is going to be in Gainesville at a Test and Tune on Saturday March 2. Lets hear what you got.

i'd like to see a shot at the end of the track of the camaro and what will be most likely far behind it!:D i wish my car was done, i need to change out the tremec 5 speed for the 4l80e sitting in front of the car, i'd be afraid of breaking something w/ the stick. http://i55.tinypic.com/6pp151.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/24n4m5e.jpg

I got a boat to rig before suwannee. Theres not even a rub rail or bow eye in it yet oh and I have to build the 300 e-tec for it
I should have said I want to play with the modern muscle, but knowing Ray and Andy theirs have more then the typical exhaust and cold air intake mods like the ones around here :D

I would love to go to bradenton to see you guys make some passes. If I can stop the front drive shaft on the old work truck from beating the hell out of the $500 BD deep trans pan and the drivers side floor board I'd love to make a pass.. Chucking the front yolk into the woods is funny.... the first 5 times...... :leaving:

Coz, my QA-1 shocks were leaking and I threw a set of $20. napa shocks in it so it was 60' Ftn like 1.53 as apposed to my normal 1.34 / 1.36 almost 2/10 s on the 60' off so it would have been on the virge of an 8.99 i think. plus it was only an 82 jet.

Ran 10.42 wit the 3 speed and just ran 10.76 wit the glide on mota.

Wow thing slowed down big time wit the glide..maybe cuz it's a small block..my big block really didn't slow down at all when I switched to a glide..but it will go much faster on spray wit the glide..thats for sure..

Mike,
Hal Lees who designed that shock and sold his company to QA-1 , has a small shock rebuilding / revalving company in St. Lucie west. Let me know if you want to get your's gone thru, I'm on W.D. with him ...

Thanks Chaz , I may take you up on that. Coz I forgot that I also had a 28" tire then , its a 315 now so that also played a part in slowin it down from a 10.42 on muscle.
