looking for a little help with 2 sets of 120 looper carbs that I have. One set that is from a 86 120 1.8L # 398574 and the other is from a 93 120 2.0L # 433375
Any chance that these are the mid bore carbs :confused:

398743 are mid-bore carbs.

JP is talking about the casting number on the port side of the carb. The numbers you have are assembled with jet numbers.

Hi folks new to the form, I hope some one can help me thinking of buying a1991 225 johnson looper for $850.00 compresion is good lower unit is good with new water pump. Only prolbem wont run no spark to any plug. A new power pack was installed and i belive a stator still no spark. Is the moter still worth putting a few bucks into and is the motor, and what else can I check out to go through the prosses of elamation to find out whats wrong with out the elamation of me checkbook lol. Any and all help would be greatfull thanks Chris

398574 and 433375 are the only casting #'s I can find; but there is a sticker on the other side attached to a cover of sorts. For the 1.8L the #'s read 398371
cant make out the 2.0L #'s
I would assume these are the smaller carbs ???
