Pretty cool, but I'm not 100% sure I like the way the C7 looks completely: http://www.vetteweb.com/features/vemp_1301_chevy_revives_stingray_moniker_on_2014_c7_corvette/

The way they stretched the windows and dropped the roof it looks like the Maserati/Ferrari coupe. I'm sure that is the market client they are targeting. Still nice to see they are trying to redesign and update their cars!

My company builds the windstop (windscreen) for the convertible version of this car. I have been involved with it since June 2011, and I will say for sure they are doing a great job with this car. GM really has some Corvette enthusiasts working for them. From the marketing guys to the engineers to the test guys, they are 100% dedicated to this. It's been very cool to watch the progress.

I'm 100% sure the Camaro taillights are a fail on a Corvette.

The tail end of the car looks like crap. The rest is not too bad. Still don't like the way they are trying to make it look like a Ferrari.

I like it until they get to rear of the door. to much like camaro from there. Would not buy 1st year, im sure they will make a change to rear. Most I have talked to like the car just ot the rear.

I agree, I like the prototypes like the split window they were previewing a few years ago better. But I think it will grow on me.

I like the car just not the idea of putting the Stingray name on it. It`s a marketing ploy useing the successfull throw back name to sway public opinion. Maybe they are not confident enough in the design. Like i said, I like the car.

Looks like someone from Pontiac designed it. The grill looks like it's from the 2002 Camaro. I like the current model better.

Tail lights suck...(as also on the Camaro)......rest fine with me.....
Ya think they would learn from all the negitive feedbake when the Camaro came out with that funky looking tail lights.

No more balsa wood. The C5 and C6 had a glass/balsa/glass sandwich floor. Now the filler is composite.

Lets kick this up a notch on "vettes". I was BABY SAT in the first year vette "53". My dad was a gearhead as the 10 years older bro. Dad bought one, bro now at 16/17. Me 6/7. WHAT a grin a kid! Anyway, on the "Stingray" name? Damn, I got a paper folder here of vette history, look it later. Can add more if wanted, but off the top my head here. (And ya damn right I have owned OLD vette''s")
In what, the C2, came out 1963.?..(split window). Had side "Shark Fins", vents the side. If not, later years did. Why called a "Stingray"?...? Dunno. But think back the prototype..."Mako Shark" (Plus knock someone silly asking "I want a "BB" 1965 vette" Sorry, as not made, only 350's, as the "427" BB was shoved in in 1966.).
Anyway.."I SIMPLE LOVE VETTES", ....but total lost interest the new what, 84 C-4's?. One the old GF's..(I'm 62 now), a "stewardess" hottie, bought one. Simple me had 150 mph racing suspension, but beat ya up silly normal "traffic. Heres some pix, my bro, long ago. Still races "Vintage" at 72 old fart, 56 Alfa.. AND, over the years tracked down the old vette, through the "registry" Sure as chit, a frame off restore, and sits a Chevy dealer in Seattle at the moment. Enjoy some old "history" Funny now I think me Bro. "DASH WAGON?" And I bet..have to ask him, but bet to race..(zero helmet then).."ya need to do the top up to race". HA!..as "a nice roll bar?"
