I have a Valero, and was running a 26 chopper at about 6,000 RPM's. I am considering a 4 blade since i had no out of the hole and since boat not that fast yet, midrange punch more important. I had an HST that ran great with a Laser II but i think i heard V-hulls like on my Valero prefer over the hub as in the ET4 which looks like a sweet prop for the price from Steves Custom Props. I found a guy online who is selling a Powertech 4 blade for $250, just wondering if one stronger if surfacing? and am thinking of running 27 to get me closer to 80 mph, my stock 26" Chopper is doing 76 mph on GPS. if i went with a ET4 i would get a 26" since i want punch and not bog it down with big 28" blades, i am also wondering if anyone has had luck with Cleavers on a Valero V hull? i seem to get plenty of bow lift as it is, but can't even hit 80mph sad, compression on 2.5 liter 200 hp was checked at dealer and said i have 110psi consistently. I think motor tired, but the right prop can hit 80-81mph right? we did hit the 76 mph with 4 adults, it also ran exactly the same as my 26 Laser II, both hit exactly 76 mph, strange...? Jim
