just wanted to say hi. i live in canada and am waiting to put the boat back in the water in a few months. i built my 12 ft boat from scratch. it is a mod-vp with a merc 25. the merc has been modified with electric start, choke and power trim. i use an 18 pitch merc chopper for speed runs and big roosters. the boat has a complete interior with all the guages, 10 disc cd changer and custom graphics to match the exterior. there are not many hot boaters around here so i gt plenty of attention when i go to the lake! best speed so far is 38 mph on gps. yes it's a little heavy and i know i could get more speed if i had more set back and a jack plate. problem is how much money do you spend on a little toy that i ultimately built for my boys!

thanks, the hull came from my buddy who had molds for a little boat they used to race. we stretched it from 8ft and built the deck out of plywood and glass. it reall flies with that chopper. love the loose feeling! really lauches over large boat wakes. the mod-vp hull corners like it is on rails.

That really looks like a cool little boat!
If you ever want to take a trip down to WA, let me know, I can tell you where all the hot spots are for all the cool boats. Major holidays are best if you want to journey down, like memorial, 4th and labor day!

I would REALLY be proud, if I had the ability to make a boat like that!

Your pics need to be under 100k file size. Also should be jpg unless real small.

I just open another site in a seperate window, click to highlight the whole address, and copy it. Then past it into my message. Have not tried anything else, but you can use some vb code in here. I think you can redirect to something on the web, but I don't know how to yet...until I want to, then I'll dig and find out.:)

...it doesn't open anything, that's why it won't work. Either the file isn't there anymore, or it isn't available as a linked image.If you can find it and/or get to it, copy and paste it to your puter's harddrive, then post it here as a .jpg. That should work. :cool:
