What should the water pressure be on a 4.0 liter omc and where should the dump hoses be hooked up at .Also only have one hose on side of LWP should there be two. Thanks Paul:cool:

What year model and where is the pressure hose hooked up at. As for one hose it depends on the area of the hose and the fittings connecting it, the passage way in the nose can also make a difference. On the nose cone I make we run on dash 12 line and can feed plenty off water to even a highly modified engine, the nose cone has the equvilant area of a 5/8 hole.

The motor is a 1991 or 92 modifed GT300 .I could not find any numbers on the block just the numbers on the carbs 397479 if that will help. The pressure hose is hooked up on right side near the bottom of the block and the drain hose at the top left in the temp port. Heres a few pict Thanks Paul

Pressure hose should be hooked up between the elbow under #7 cyl on the adapter and the water control valve connected to the throttle linkage. If the control valve is not being used it would hook directly to the elbow. You are hooked to an outlet that bleeds off the top off the block. Hooked as I said I would look for 20psi

Racer the pressure hose is hooked to the elbow just under # 7 cyl and the coil. The top hose is used as the pisser. look at the first picture you can see the bottom hose by the stud with red tieraps. Is this correctThanks Paul.

I dont have much info on the spacer and stacks they were on the motor when I bought the boat. They have a stamp on both parts that looks similar to EM but more like two E's one turned down and they are both anodized .I do know who built the engine and may be able to contact him, also check with Bill Gore on this board he may be able to Id them:confused: Paul

Those manifolds and stacks are evolution. I make performance manifolds and Instigator on this boards has the stacks.

Are these manilolds any good in performance increase and how dose your manifold compare to the evolution manifold and does the stack length make any difference Thanks Paul.

What do you charge for a set of stacks and a spacer for a 1986 225 rude and what kind of HP or acceleration difference would there be. :D :D

Thanks, Bidco225

Air, the evolution manifols are good parts but expensive as they are machined billet. Mine are a machined casting and slightly different. Performance increase depends on the extent of the mods.

Bidco, Call 714-827-7920 and ask for LJ. Tell him you would like the HP info and he will send it out.
