My step father and I have a 1986 19' hydrasport bass boat with a 1986 merc black max 200. We are dying to go faster and its got a manual jack plate. I've tried moving it but it seems to be stuck. I'm not completely sure cause I've never worked a manual jack plate. And once we get it moved how far do I jack it up? And one last question, a theres 23P prop on it now were gonna get a new one. If there's any suggestions that would be great.
Thanks, jacob

look at bobs machine .com for the nose cone ... i would call tim at hoss props or steve at sds props and see what they recommend both of these guys are very helpful and straight up.... steve is ds77 on this forum board,,,, tim at hoss props is a vendor on this forum .....nose cone will give u a few mph,,then you can jack the motor higher and then run a higher pitch prop and so on ....your top speed will be limited only by the thickness of your wallet
