The S&F group booked the entire hotel this past weekend at Crystal Cove Resort for the run on the St Johns....
They ( the OWNER and staff ) went out of their way to make sure we all had a great time and a pleasant stay.
So who is the $hit head that let their dog take a crap in one of the rooms THREE times and did not clean it up????
WTF ? Like I said, not my business but this pisses me off !!!!!!!
Did Scott come down for that event? Maybe it's Scott's midnight poop and he forgot about it.

Unbelievable. Wont be hard to figure out who it was...
It reflects on all of us.
They we went above and beyond to take care of us.

There is some informal detective work ongoing.......
Maybe someone was filming some "scat" and forgot to clean up.

That's the kind of AZZCLOWN that ruins things for responsible dog owners! Not to mention it looks bad for the High Po boating community!

Thanks from all of us RESPONSIBLE pet owners. Another place that most likely will no longer allw pets. Stop thinking of only yourself and realize your actions are affecting others obviously more than yourself. Mike

Sad part is the lady working the front desk just gave him a credit on his credit card prior to knowing this. We talked with her after this discovery and she was completely shocked. Some people are amazing.

Though I have no Dog in this fight ( No Pun intended :)) I admire the starter of this thread to bring it out in the open, I hope WHEN it's dicovered you all will post what dickhead did this, total lack of respect and shows the true colors of this individual. As stated on here numerous times, it is a reflection on our boating community. A fine example of Douche baggery 101 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ridiculous! has anyone tried to contact this person and let them know(trying to give the benefit of the doubt here and maybe the guy didn't know). very nice place, ultimately if the guy doesn't pay maybe we all could chip in and pay for the damage, it would be nice to be able to go back there without a tarnished reputation.

The manager ( Lauren) asked me nicely to let it go..... That's how much they appreciated us!!! I do however know which room it was and who was staying in it. I gave my word that I would keep it confidential and drop it but damn... If it was me, I would not let them back to the hotel.
CC-Resort is currently "not" a pet friendly hotel but they were so happy to have us they didn't really mind the few that did bring dogs..
As per the owner, they may set up a few rooms in the future in the detached building for pets since travel with animals is so prevalent these days. But there will be a pet deposit as expected by most establishments.
I personally called the owner and apologized (http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG7thO12BQbCQAGBNXNyoA?ei=UTF-8&fr=aaplw&p=apologized&SpellState=&fr2=sp-qrw-corr-top) for this, I hope the guilty party does the same if he has not already done so.

Not sure who it was but they no it was there there door was open when i walked by the room and i saw it rt in the doorway to the room and not just that there was dog sh-t all over the cement area along that side of the hotel, thats just plain wrong those people should have there dogs removed from them, or they should have to sleep in the dog house with the dogs in there own **** i can;t beleive a human being can live like that who ever it is is one sick sum bitch thats all i have to say and they should pay the cleaning for that room and the cement out side as well sure does make a nice place like that not want to allow us back, they went out of there way to make it nice for us, I sure hope they figure it out and understand that one guy doesn;t reflect on us all as a group, I for one thought the place was top notch and look forward to going back there weather it be as a group or just with my family to enjoy the river and have a nice place to stay, they where great to us there and i think they went above and beyond to treat us good. Like they say it only takes one bad apple, Hopefully this doesn;t ruin another place for this group to go. Was great seing everyone and look forward to seeing everyone again very soon, Keys Dave

I also will call Kelly to apologize for the D- Head ,who was so disrespectful of the property and so stupid as to not realize the fallout from this regarding the reputation of the " Group " .
I heard there were Shizz bombs all over the parking lot from dogs , not sure what i would have said or done if myself or my family would have stepped in it . Just so irresponsible and disrespectful of others . I like dogs , but they are not welcome if they bring their irresponsible owners with them .
Sorry Kelly and Crystal Cove staff .

I'll go one step further, if it were me, and I saw this thread as much as I'd hate it...I'd fess up, apolagize for it, make it right to the owners of the hotel and to my buddy's. The fact that the douche bag see's this and says nothing tells me he doesn't really care.....that's the sad part. All you other guys that were there sure seem like stand up folks, the very fact you caught it and decided speak out says a lot, too bad ole boy doesn't seem to care or get the message....... What a shame !

I would really like the person who did this to be posted on here, i guarantee it wouldn't happen again. Just sorry a#@ people, like someone else said, i'd surely not want to see what this person lives in......

The only people staying at the hotel not with our group were staff members. I was told the room was registered to one of our members. Whether that member was staying in that room I do not know.

Unbelievable...... TRASH.... We have never had this problem any where else, Im guessing it was NOT one of our regular members as there are pets brought to most events I go to with no issues.
If i knew who it was they would be wondering why their boat wont start....

I know a guy who's dog shat up his neighbors yard once too many times. The guy walked into his shop with a coal shovel full of crap, dumped it on the floor, said "your dog left this in my yard" and slammed the shovel down on it sending crap all over the shop, machines, walls, etc.
People suck it... There always seems to be that one guy... The belligerent one, with no social etiquette, that everybody has to "clean up after"... These type of guys are like vacuums, sucking the life out of everything, and adding no value.

I believe Adam already made mention he know's WHO it was and was asked to keep it confidential, assuming he does know who it is if it were not a member he would have stated so then. As much as I want him to name the person, I respect a man who keeps his word too. The guy that did this needs to stand on the carpet and not hide behind this....... Doubting he will do that though......

There may have been some there that did not have a boat and were there just to be there so to speak .
Anyway it's no doubt whomever they were knows it and this issue only serves to detract from the facility and the event with all the normal people that were there . Maybe it has run it's course .
