You may get many responses to this, but overall, I've been very happy with Hydromotive Quad IV OT's in either a 27 or 28 pitch for that set-up. If you have an 8250 limiter, even a 26 would be great. Others that run well are Merc Chopper II's, or ET's. The Chopper II may be a little better on carrying a load than the OT. I believe the OT is more forgiving than the ET and speeds on my boat were similar.

I'd go with a Hoss Triton or HyperDrive !!!....... :D
Triton for big numbers!
Of course, I "may" be extremely biased, but that still doesn't change the truth?

I use a Hydromotive Quad IV OT on my 2003XB 280. Gret handli.g and speed. Call Hydomotive. They know the Ally's and will let you know the best setup.

Both Todd from Hydromotive and Tim know Allys.

I own two Triton's, both from Allison (who probably had a good reason to own them), and a Hyperdrive for my SS2000. I had a Hydromotive once, but I bought too much pitch...Nice prop though.

Hey tim any word on when your new triton 4 blade over hub is coming out lookin for a good 4 blade. Ive never tried a 3 blade on my ally 2003xb but i am curious. Between your current triton 3 blade and 4 blade hyperdrive what is the differnce in hole shot midrange and top speed i have to make alot of turns on my lake so handling midrange punch and hole shot are more important and would prob get me to the curves and other end of the lake faster than an all out top speed prop. What do all at hoss think which of your props would be the best for my xb2003 280 merc 1:87 sportmaster and light load with passenger i also have 14 inches of setback on jack plte and what pitch on prop thanks for help
