This is a quote from their evaluation of the 1984 Corvette:
"Thus jazzed up, this V-8 [350 cu. in.] seems to have reached the limits of its clean-air power: 205 bhp at 4300 rpm and 290 lb-ft of torque at 2800.
Not that this Corvette is lacking in power, mind. We recorded a foot-stomping 7.1 seconds to 60 mph, burbled through the quarter mile in 15.5 sec at 88.0 mph and saw 100 mph in only 22.3 sec."
Funny.

So it's about a full second slower in the 1/4 than my TRUCK with a 293ci LS. lol.

Funny.
Crossfire injection wasn't one of GM's finer moments.

Ceasefire injection didn't make it long. Those weren't pretty days for America's sports car. Wow

84 Vette, one of the biggest piles of all time. I believe it set a record on warranty issues for GM. They spent A LOT of time on the 85 model year ironing out bugs and by 86 it was a much much better car.
