Long Island SOB Great South Bay 9/6/12

I Had a fun short run to the Ocean inlet and around the Great South Bay with a few friends this evening. For those who could not make it I took some short footage.

I had a great time and it was nice to meet a few new faces !

Jerry what is wrong with you,not everything is about food,point is the guy hurled a lead sinker hard enough to chunk his gel coat,18 inches higher and it would have been his head (which is like jelly)and we would be reading about it in todays paper

Dont worry im a full time mate on the charter boats in Freeport. The word is already spread. next time we will carry 16 ounce sinkers and give him a taste.. lol

First ran into "Mikey' around 5:50 and then decided to follow along on a 20min run to Freeport and back w/ Bobby 'Berzerko' as my copilot. Here is some of the video to help remember a great day.

D.d great vids. Last one not so good. Not a great spot for flybys...
boats comming off plane can leave a large wake.. Combine that w the off the pedal end of run scenario is a recipe for disaster. That is where the two Chanel's come together, you never know who's coming around the corner there...be careful.

i agree about off the pedal scenario deff but wasnt to many docks out there with people i knew with go pros on stand by plus 7:30 on a weeknight wasnt too worried thats why im out during the week, had to improvise end of the year and no vids, hope i didnt ruin uR morning coffee lol dnelson thanks alot i promise next week we r getting a ton of footage for u not fair for the camera boat..

Thanks for that update. I might wait until this afternoon or Sunday then. You might want to go out in your shadow awhile in the 2'ers for a feel of it. You might also be surprised how you run in it.
