Here goes, I'm using a omc cobra trim pump on my merc, cause it's a lot faster. When I installed it I drilled and tapped the valve body for 1/4" pipe fittings there was a 3/16" line and a 1/4" line witch one is the out/up high pressure. The way I have it now it does not want to push out under power.I think I may have the lines backwards.

The IO Merc pump is the one that is faster. And yea, you're either "outasite" or out there! LOL!!!! :)

Can you explain
The way I have it now from the way you had it before?

:D

Did you purge it several times to get the air out?

This is a stern drive pump. After drilling the valve body to 1/4 pipe.I done that to get rid of the special fittings, they are now both the same size.As mounted, the top line that I believe was 3/16 I have going to the up side.I thought that the smaller size should have been the high pressure side it is solid (no air) and this is the only way I've tried it.If trim out when I let off the throttle then get back in it it holds does not creep in.

he trim out up line is the line (fitting) farthest from the manual release valve or the one to the right looking at both the lines from the face on position

Will look tomorrow, I only remember there being a top and bottom line about two inches apart.will look for the Manuel release.I would just try changing the lines around except it's hot I've been eating to many cheeseburgers, and the dumbass that put the pump in (me)hid it way back in the corner.
