How many splines on this OMC verticle gearcase shaft?

Hi,

Got a freebe gearcase/ complete lower from my buddy at work and I have a question.

How many splines on the verticle shaft of 20 inch lower unit? p/n 0394613 s/s to 5000777 ?

The engine is a 1989 Johnson 2 stroke...110 HP...20 inch shaft, regular large v4 gearcase.

I have my boat out on the moor and don't want to have to take it apart to verify that my buddie's lower will work on my engine.

It may be a good candidate for a low water pick up project over the winter.

Thanks, the donor engine was about the same year 115 HP 2 stroke 20 in shaft.

Update... the 115 hp donor lower is a 20 spline verticle shaft and a 15 spline prop shaft, not a 13 spline prop shaft like my 110 hp engine.
