My dad has a nitro motor(not sure on size) that he was going to put into a helicopter but never did. He is looking for a wood boat kit to build and put the motor into. Anyone know where you can get something like this? He was thinking along the lines of an old hydro style or something similar.

Thanks!

Keep an eye on E bay for old Dumas kits. Today's RC boating has gone like everything else....plug and play. You might find an older glass hull to put it in.

I hear that the guys by the last name of Junker out of Florida have some of the best hulls around.. I would be intereted to see how a nitro outboard would work on the Pro Boat Stiletto 29:eek:... Anyone on here ever converted a Stiletto 29 to a nitro outboard??

Sean Junker - Vision Craft boats in the Bradenton area (pm me if you need his number), one of the best turning and running tunnels on the market IMHO. The Stiletto conversion has been done, but if your looking for a competitive boat, it aint it.
Here's a pic of my Vision ModVp -

While RC airplanes and cars tend to get the majority of modelers’ attention, there is another area of RC that can be just as much, if not even more fun than both. RC Boats provide a totally different experience than flying a plane or driving a car on many different levels.
