Cle on mirage

How well will a stock 4 hole cle perform on a mirage used as a 800 maybe 1/4 drag boat? Does it half to be coned id rather not half to if possible

My buddy runs one on a ski-racer with a 2.5 EFI it runs 102-103 with my 34. He did need to add some torque tab to his CLE.

I won WORLD in 1400 Modified class with that set up in 1994, I did work the skeg though..
