I have always been a big fan of Nu-Finish for waxing the boats, cars, etc. Between wax jobs I usually use a spray wax or detail spray. I have been using a Meguires detail spray but saw Nu-Finish just came out with one called "Cling". Picked up a bottle and used it last night on the little boat and it REALLY brought out the shine. It didnt get streaky on the black cowling either like some of them do.

I used to use Nu-finish on my cars when I was a kid. It has virtually NO "polishing" qualities (It will not actually smooth or "fix" scuffs and scratches), however, when it's used as it was intended, as a synthetic "wax" of sorts, it's pretty good, and very long-lasting. You can actually use it in direct sun on a wet rag. The only down-sides are the dry, white dust that gets everywhere, and the intense slippery surface that once caused me to slide right off the bow of my old Baja. :D

Most detailer spray formulas have no wax content, but they're designed to remove surface dust, fingerprints and such without stripping the wax. They can't be used in the sun because the heat will flash off the water and leave those nasty streaks behind.

I have used them all and by far the best has been Showroom Shine by Malco. Part #110401 used in body/detail shops everywhere and sold in bodyshop/paint supply houses everywhere. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been using Babe's Boat Bright with good results. Works well on wipedowns after a day on the water (hard water here in Central Texas).
