How do I know if it's a fat/big shaft or small one? Snapped one of my shafts and lost 15/30 cleaver prop.

Since you say "one of my shafts ", I assume you have another engine or lower unit?
If so, count the splines on the shaft...... 15 tooth is small shaft and 19 tooth is large shaft...... if you snapped it, it's probably a small shafting?

300's should have big shafts?

What I assumed. Can I run 32 pitch props instead of 30? How big of a difference?

Depends what rpm you're turning with the 30's?
Normally would loose 200-300 rpm when you change pitch like that?
