Can someone give me the full throttle adjustment procedure & timing procedure for a ProMax. Mine idles a bit high and was just rebuilt so want to make sure everything is in check. Want to be able to check & adjust the throttle from where the cable hits it all the way to the throttle plates. Also want to check the timing to be sure it's where it needs to be.

Issue - Bit smokey after a prolonged idle & high idle. Seems to be a touch thirsty also.

Thanks guys.
Nick

I can't say, Lynn. My guess is no but not sure. Runs like a top when I mat it but just want to be sure all the adjustments are correct. If it's still smokey/rich after this I'll send em to Tony.

Thanks man! Hope you are good. Coming down for the river run?

Did the link & sync. Less smokey during idle and idle is lower where it should be. Still seems a bit fat tho. I figured I'm getting roughly 2.5MPG. That was running under 5K most of the time with several WOT blasts.... After I got back to the dock she was smoking a bit again. Might be due for an injector cleaning. Plugs look wet too and not a nice tan color.

Fount no thermostats in it but restrictors. Could be why its thirsty, always on the cold side.
