Sorry this is so late. I have been very busy with Christmas around the corner. Thumper and I went to see Nick on Saturday. When I called from the ICU waiting room to see if we could go in they said, “He’s been transferred” My heart sunk. I thought they meant to another hospital. Then they told me he was transferred to a regular room. (That was supposed to happen Sunday). That was great news !!!!!!!!!!! He is still in Elmbrook Hospital. He is in room 509. He’s doing much better. He’s talking pretty damn good too. He makes perfect sense and remembers everyone. It’s time to go see him guys and gals. He can use the visits. He enjoys the company. That is a great improvement !!!! Balzy what are the chances of
him gettin home for Christmas ?????

send it to Nick Kaye @room 509 c/o the hospital and it should find its way to him.
Balzy didn't mention that while Nick is weak, his eyes were bright and he mentioned people that we hadn't so the names came from his head and not us.
I really think that if he gets out in another week to 10 days he'll be on the miraculous recovery list. It seems that the road to recovery is going to be long.

Real good seeing you and the missus again. We all need to get together more often to get all jonesed about it being too cold. BTTW was great to watch but real painful at the same time :)
