What would the differences be between the 3 different motors on this Vector?

Thanks!

280 for sure.it will go twice as fast and last twice as long.but will only use half as much gas as them other two motors that you are considering.

OH BY THE WAY I JUST REMEMBERED.I HAVE A 280 FOR SALE IF YOU WANT ONE.

twice as fast and twice as long  I got some 280 pics, they breathe well after they saw their own front half off.

How many hundreds of hours between rebuilds on a 2.5 steel bore promax FTW.....

If the boat is straight and not a pig the PM will put you well into the 100 zone, which is all the faster a vector needs to go anyway.

So, over a 225 Pro max, the 260 and 280 arent that much more of a difference?

No...he's saying that a 260 or 280, if right, and a boat that's right, will be much faster than you ever want to go in that hull.

I agree, I think that with the larger power it may go faster than one would ever want to go, but, the question I'd have is lets say you were fine going 100 mph with any of the motors.

What is the seat of the pants feel with the 225 prmax vs the 260 or 280, from 0 to the top speed you feel comfy with, the example of 100?
