Mirage Race Boats

Does anyone know anything about Mirage Race Boats and the owner Glenn Chamblee? I see he acquired the jet boat molds and is building them in all engine configurations. I'm curious as to why you don't see any of them around. I always loved those boats. My first boat ride over 110 was in one.

I know there is a limited market for MVP boats, but I would think there would be some out there.

I underestand that the jet boat hulls are a heavier design and the transom modification was somewhat a problem. If you are interested in a outboard Mirage you need to talk with Mike Mullins in Winter Haven Fl. 863-581-7807 he owns the outboard molds and rights to the Mirage name, he has been building Mirage Boats for years. I was wondering of the nuances of the jet hull to OB conversion...this makes some sense. Is Mullins who started building them after Collins?
