Well 5 years of investigation and a 10 month trial and not guilty-
Frankly , I could give a f-ck either way BUT - WHAT Burns my azz is
We paid for it :nonod: WTF
Did YOU really care if he shot crap in his arm and hit x amount of home runs ????
That said- YOU are going to pay for it again with Lance Armstrong -
Think about how much that money could be going to something to help a country in need .....
BTFW - Thats us .
Do you or I really care if he used performance enhancing drugs to literally pedal his balls off ????
He ROCKED - He was and IS - THE ONLY REASON you watched the Tour De France.
Like cycling or not- its in your pocket now.
Just goes to show how f-ed up our priorities are now doesn't it ???
Im done ...........

Why does congress have any business doing an inquiry into steroid use when our economy is in the tank, our debt is over the top, our credit has been downgraded, and we have illegals coming across our boarders in huge numbers?
There needs to be a re-focus.

I'll bet those arrogant turds thought it woud be a slam dunk and would somehow make them look important.
And after 2 trials and wasting $10 mill of tax payer money in the end they once again looked like imcompetent boobs.

What business is it of congress's anyway. Baseball isn't part of our government. We didn't elect them to oversee baseball did we?
I mean it's OK for a football player to hit another player so hard it ends that players career but a baseball player used steroids OH NO.WTH!!!

Exactly Ed! Another example of the government sticking their nose where it doesn't belong. They make careers out of overstepping their bounds

The problem is that it doesnt matter if the prosecutors win or lose, they still get paid by us.....where is the incentive? Just stayin busy.......This trial had nothing to do with if he took roids, it was all to try to prove he lied under oath.....What a F-ing waste. Its funny how much more money the gov. wastes going after high profile cases, maybe they should use thier resources to pass a budget, its been three years since thats happened.....But thats not a priority appearently.

Well if congress wants to investigate drug use/ abuse while on the job, they should start with themselves and then maybe look into the cop shops after they get that wrapped up.

Guys, it is called distraction. The liberal media is controlled by the same bunch that is the puppeteer of our government now. They throw out all these smoke and mirror distractions to get our mind off what really matters. Look at the headlines on AOL, Huff Post, Yahoo, or any of the other socialist sources. If Kim Kardashen or any of her sisters fart it is front page with them for 3 days. Linsey Lohan gets a parking ticket and it goes media viral within hours. I mean, who cares what these sluts do? But reading that crap takes attention away from Obama pushing for quick passage of the Trans Pacific Treaty, or promising the Russians better concessions in the missle treaty after the election or executive order granting amnesty for illegals.

Cant blame it all on the lap dog media:
Athletics play such an important role in our society, but, unfortunately, some in professional sports are not setting much of an example. The use of performance-enhancing drugs like steroids in baseball, football, and other sports is dangerous, and it sends the wrong message -- that there are shortcuts to accomplishment, and that performance is more important than character. So tonight I call on team owners, union representatives, coaches, and players to take the lead, to send the right signal, to get tough, and to get rid of steroids now-George Bush, 2004 State of the Union Address
"Major league baseball players and owners should meet immediately to enact the standards that apply to the minor leagues, and if they don't, I will have to introduce legislation that says professional sports will have minimum standards for testing,I'll give them until January, and then I'll introduce legislation."</NITF> -John McCain

The asterix, you never spell his name without it, for all of his accomplishments while on steroids.
