Got one in mine - with the matching foot throttle and trim pedals. Love it! 20 years old and never a problem with any of their stuff.

The best stuff in my opinion! The entire line will be offered again through CP Performance and Diamond Marine very soon. It is now N Control, but identical in every detail (even the unique color anodizing) so that those with existing In Control product can add/replace without looking dissimilar. The foot throttles are available now (both single and split) and the shifters and foot trim pedals will follow soon.

I see what looks like an In cotrol foot rest peddle. Are they making them again? Or does any one have one they want to sell?

In my boat, the left pedal isn't just a foot rest. It's the trim pedal. (Toe = Up & Heel = Down) Of course when people ask, I always tell them it's the brake.

That could be what's in tux974's pic too. I need a foot rest because of a leg injury. I use one made by someone else, but I would prefer it match my in control throttle and shifter (if they ever made one or was going to make one again).

Mine is just a rest. Not sure there is enough room to rest your foot in the center and have a button on either side. Contact Marty @ Diamond for additional info.

You don't need buttons. Press your toes and you trim up. Press your heel and you trim down. And you can adjust the center / rest position and the sensitivity. I'd never go back to the orginal two button pedastal that came in mine. BTW, As I understand it, mine was the prototype unit.

IMPO, Not sure how well that will work when you use the foot rest pedal to stabilize your planted foot. It sounds like there is a good chance you will be trim either way by accident regularly when running hard.
I always found the buttons on either side made it easy to keep your heel planted and stable but that is just me.
Glad it works for you.

Point well taken. You can adjust the sensitivity of both the up and down positions. I have mine set so I can rest my foot quite comfortably in it. I should note that I always drive barefoot though.

I use mine as a rest to brace myself in the seat and as a trim switch. You can stiffen it up pretty tight if you like but the design lets you press really hard straight into it without triggering the up or down. You have to see the design to understand but it works really well.

I've been hearing that since Feb 2012.
It is starting to seem very doubtful.. Does anyone have any idea? All I hear is that they aren't ready yet and no one knows any more.. Yet I always hear how everyone wants them..

Have patience guys, the shifters are coming soon. I talk to Mike at CP regularly, and he tells me I'll have my dual shift soon. I've already received the split foot throttle and foot trim override (which means they're available through CP or Diamond), I'm only waiting on the dual shift now. I'll post up as soon as I receive my shifter so you guys will know they're available. The product is top notch still and worth the wait!

+ 1 Subscribed. Will be curious to see prices. Is the foot trim a stiff unit, I'm worried I'd have my foot hammered down all the time on the "UP" button :):)

Hey, that looks familiar!!! :D I never used one until I bought your boat. I've used Rex, Eddie, etc.... They don't hold a candle to In Control! Glad to see some one else picked up the ball. I was wondering what was going on. That's great!!!

Dale, good news. I had spoken to Marty a couple a weeks ago and he said the same
I'm sure the dual will similar in price $800+. If I remember correctly that is what I paid.

Not sure of exact date, there is unfortunately many parts involved that need to be made and put together. I can assure you they are working on them and they will happen.

You're absolutely correct Tony, they will be available soon. People have to realize that the new N-Control products are not the only new products Mike is working on right now. They just unveiled their new twin turbo 525EFI kit at the Miami show and they also have many other new and innovative products they are currently bringing to market - like a new water pressure overpressure bleedoff system I just had installed in my Skater. Have patience everyone, it's the middle of Winter anyway! The new shifters will be available soon.........

Guys, I have the solution for you! Inexpensive, raw (finish as you like), and does the trick!!
Similar to K & S and Nydahl but WAY better looking!! Super light.
No detent but with my design the shifter will stay where you put it providing it's adjusted properly.

I am selling them for $100.00 plus the ride.

I also make a floor mount! All these units are "universal". I have made them to clamp onto the 3/8 cable sheath not the black plastic lug. Although I can make those for you as well.

I bought one of the very early foot throttles right from Jim's house when he first started MFG of in-control foot throttles back in the 80's and I still have that peddle. All of his stuff was hand made and well thought out and tested. It is sad that he won't be making them anymore but I guess it was time for him to get out.
