I have a 9.9 Mercury spinning a 10 pitch prop. Other than an actual tachometer to see your rpm's how can you tell it is within the Correct RPM Range? A 1993 model so is it a 4500 to 5500 on this? The sticker to find this I cannot read. Thanks, Ed

I think if you are using it on anything other than a sea flea, it should stay within the rec. rpm. with the stock prop. on it,s own. Use full synthetic oil thanks.

Merc says 5-6000rpm, used a shop meter to check mine. It runs 5800rpm with 9x9" on a light 12' aluminum hull with a 200lb driver and 3gal of fuel.

Mine is a 1973 Lowe Line. V haul but short flat back. With my 9.9 9" prop I am going 28MPH but it really screams. I suppose a marina can check this but they do make a 11 pitch S/S prop. A $119.00 new to your door, Ed
