Do Mississippi Boats have Titles??

I may be buying a boat from Mississippi. The owner says they are a non-titled state. All I would get is a bill of sale and registration. Is this correct??

That is it we buy and sell our boats motors and trailers with a bill of sale here in Mississippi

Yep all that is required in MS is a bill of sale. A title can be made but is not required. I usually request the MS Boaters Registration card also if they have one. I also usually get the bill of sale notarized. Hope this helps.
