Ok, My fenders look dull and I want them to shine like new. I took one off and noticed it had a mirror shine on the part that wasn't exposed to the elements. I don't want to spend alot of money trying different cleaning materials. I need someone that has tried it before to make sure it works, that way I'm not waisting time and money. Thanks for any info...........

It depends on how dull they are. Google "polishing stainless steel" and you'll find tons of info. It might take anything from a quick shot with a Mother's Power Ball and some polish to a full on multiple stage wetsanding working your way up to a final polish. Also, there is a product you can put on after the polishing is done that will seal it really well. Once it is applied you cannot polish it again for a couple of years. The name escapes me but if I remember I'll post it.
Flitz. i did a thread on it a while ago (polish a sportmaster or something like that) and in it someone else posted another product they used on some airplane part that looked like it worked pretty well too.
After polishing, you could probably degrease the surface with acetone and shoot it with a clearcoat of spray lacquer. :) Probably similar to the product that JohnR was describing.

Try the Aluminum Deoxidizer and the Purple Polish. Have used it and you will be amazed.
