Hey guys, I finally got your awards made, framed and shipped, sorry for the delay.
They went out UPS today so you should get them in a couple days.
So once again, congrats to winners of:
DRAG - Eric Saloom
TOP SPEED - Greg Cyranoski at 118 MPH's!!
BEST LOOKING BOAT - Rick Fisher
FARTHEST TOW - Tony Brucato
WORST LUCK - Charlie Mendes
MOST TIME ON WATER - Bruce Leonard
FOR DEDICATION AND SUPPORT OF THE RUMBLE - Ken Warby
and the KING of the RUMBLE was Bob Albee
Congrats again to all you guys, you all rocked, thanx for coming and I hope you all come back and defend your titles next year, except you Charlie :D
Let me know if any of them show up damaged, I was a little nervous shipping them framed so we'll see.
Thanx again guys,
Gary

That's way cool Gary!! I wasn't expecting an actual award. Just the fact that someone else besides me thinks my boat looks great was award enough!! :D ;)
I will definately be there next year for my title defense. And if you thought it looked good last year, wait 'til you see it next year! I am stepping up the coolness factor big time. I think my only competition might just be Lake Trash, but it would not hurt my feelings too bad if the title stays in the "family." :p
I hope to spend a little more time in the water next year.
Thanks again Gary for everything you have done! You are truly a class act and an asset to the boating community!

BTW...Damage, not sure if your boat is the purple liberator on the web site under Plum Crazy...but that's a very nice job of rigging.

I didn't know you were doing that...wow, ain't we getting official now...I think with the Top Speed at 118, a lot of guys will go after it next year, and we should see some well into the 120's. I'm hoping to be one of them...
Thanks for a great event Gary, Amigo's, Carrollton, etc, etc (OK, you Coon Ass's made it fun too).

On your profile the www button takes me to yahoo photo where you have some pictures including a file named plum wild?. There are several pictures of what looks to be a purple liberator with a 260? Wondering if that was yours.

That's my pride and joy!! :D
It has changed a lot since those pics were taken. I haven't updated that site in a while. :o I forgot that link was there!
The 260 is history. It is now at Taylor Marine getting a few steroid injections!! :D A 300X block with all of the trickest stuff Wayne has! ;)

Greg, I think you scared the **** out of all the bench racers last year when you laid down that 118 pass.
I about **** when I looked at the GPS after you handed it to me.
Amazing how efficient that hull design really is, and how strong that motor runs.
I know several of the Canadians cliam to have Euro's and River Rockets running at that level similar power.
Talked to Helmut at Jasper and he's had maybe three that all ran like that.
Rick, what the hell is that thing on the back of the boat??
Between you and Dennis, I am geeked to see a boat that looks as good as both of yours and runs like I know they're going to!
B.L. I looked all over town to try and find the smae frames as last year so yours would match and I couldn't do it.
Sorry
Guess you are the first two time award winner though??
Congrats on that too.
Now you need to win something different for next year:D
What will it be??
Rick, here is a picture of yours and Dennis's boat together

This was way cool!
Aftre the band closed down the Tiki Bar they set up under the Gazzebo and jammed untill the wee hours of the moring
The best part was, every time you'd walk by there would be some one else setting in
At one point we had, H20NUT, LAKER, ERIC SALOOM, RAPTOR and I can't even rememmber every one besides the real band

There was not much of it at Rumble II but here is some early morning serenity.

The winged guy came to run but Gator threw him out on a technicality - his prop was above the water line.

I threw out the plane cause it wasn't a two stroke:D
The plane was actually my buddy Jimmy Carters that brought the F-1 to Rumble one. Tried like hell to get him to tow it down for two but business obligations prevented it. Thought I had a chance of getting him to let me bring it and drive it :)
The things so freakin rare though?? I think he was probably shocked at the level of competition he saw this year too.
Would have to break it to defend his pride :)
Thanx for the shots NUT. How's your project coming?? Skip told me when I was down that it was together and running??
I have some really good ones, I just gotta get it together to make some CD's like Balzy did.
Some of the videos of the drags are actually pretty good too.
LT, are you going to have the little boat and ET boat done??
Read part of the thread about the ET bots history. Very cool.
Not sure about some of those speeds though with in lines??
Can't wait to see it run!

You know how it is. Allways look on the bright side. Sure all will be done and everything will be running at exactly the time you need it.
The ET is comming along real good. The bottom is completely glassed and is being readied for Gel Coat. Sprayed one sponson yesterday with some special gelcoat sanding primer. Started blocking. This stuff is good. Cuts easy with 80 grit. Should only need one more application to be near perfect.
http://airmasterstab.com/ET-2.jpg
You need to tell me if the Warlock is allowed this year as it will be diesel powered / Arneson drive. Gean is standing firm that it has to be there to insure all the kids get all the riding they can stand. You know how she can be.
The 19 is comming for sure. I think I will talk my pro buddy into driving since the Frankenrude is looking like it might actully make the trip and I will need every advantage I can muster.
No worries. All we have to do is work out the logistics.
By the way - it looks like Ken has seen the light and realizes the ET is going to smoke his skif. I sense a new prop boat is taking shape in that Aussie mind. It seems the boy does not take loosing very well and loosing to a Yank - not a possibility. May have to install the turbine in the ET just to stay close enough to snif his smoke.
