I like how as it is falling, the speed is decreasing, but the video looks like it is moving faster.

AWESOME!!! As a kid my Dad worked at Nasa (Johnson Space Center in Clear Lake, Tx.) I was lucky enough to be in the simulators for Apollo, Lunar Module & the Shuttle (before it was ever in service)

I used to work at Reynolds Aluminum. We made the panels for the external fuel tank. Remember well, when Challenger blew up. Come over the plant intercom, and the place went silent, as we were very involved in the Shuttle program. Cool vid!

It clearly shows the recovery of the two SRB's in a separate video on the site.

I went back and looked, and I was wrong. 2:08 in shows the cam on a side boaster, tank on the right, Shuttle above. Thats a cool vid, the more ya watch, the more ya see!

Too bad the Shuttle program is over, but been a good run, even if some tragedy's involved. I saw a few launches rocket at the Cape, but never a Shuttle launch. Supposed to be fantastic! Have a friend lives in Cocoa Beach.

When you consider all that has to happen to get one of those up and back down, the losses incurred (RIP) during the program were pretty minimal considering.
