Just mounted a Yamaha Vmax on my boat that has a dual same side rack steering set up. The motor turns futher one way than the other, is there a way to even out the turning distance? Couldn't find anything by doing a a search. Any help would be great. Thank you.

can you post a picture of how it's mounted to the motor? Sounds like it has the wrong link arm or the link arm is not mounted in the right location

Can't get a pic but there are 3 holes on the steering arm and I've tryed them all and it still does it. The steering arm itself is new and off a Mercury dual set up. Are they all the same length? Thanks

no, not all same length. center wheel, center motor, measure for length of drag link.

I did center wheel and motor. Turned wheel and extended cable all the way out and it measured 8" so I centered it at 4" with the motor being straight.
Maybe I should try a smaller arm, I think I have a few laying around. Thanks for the input.
