I was repairing my battery charger with my favorite tool, which I seem to have broken. What could I use instead?

If it cant be fixed with a big hammer, then its obviously an electrical problem!

I've used something like this before to kill off pesky cell phones. Your local CAT store might have a rental...

Just got back from Home Depot. I am going to try fiberglass. This is a big deal for me, I'm very traditional, but the wood handles I saw were not very good.
I hope the head doesn't fly off, hit me in the head, and make me crazy:eek:

sure just come on down and ill check it out of the arms room for ya...im sure to help offset some of the travel expense nick can hook ya up with gas from his gas barge but nothing is going to offset the cost of 950 rounds per minute unless nick has an ammo factory inside the barge...lol

HA! That happened to me long ago. Bought a new axe at Ace. So I'm swinging at the log, only got a few swings in, did a way over the back swing around, and hit the log with the handle?
All I could do is cover my head with my arms and hope! Few seconds later, the head landed 20 feet ahead of me! :D Got some good "air" out of that swing!;)

Pete, ya used the wrong "BFH"! I got 2 short handle 5 pounders, (trust me, take whats left, handle, and use it! Think slamming a flywheel nut, on a puller. All ya gotta do is "shock it off that taper";). And a long 10 pounder..(damn, long ago at work, was a 45 pounder, that few could swing, much less pick up! What ya should have used was a "Super high visibility", "DEAD BLOW!". They seem to either scare the electrical thing back to work, or "go at it", and finish it off!;):D

I had to edit my post, now my whole post is up. On a BFH? To me, its the "last fix", after all the tools and wrenches "tried"...? Then ya want to put that miserable SOB, out of its (well, yours!), misery? AND BREAKS YOUR FAVORITE BFH?

HA! I have a great SS Merc prop, $600 wheel, "failed the float test", and its back in the Fox Lake chain. Just outside of Pistakee, one night, heading down river, somewhere around pirates island. This dumb azz put it on, finger tight the nut, got distracted, never torqued tight! Ran like bear, until I layed off the foot. Chithouse fulla neutrals now! Paddled to the island, (had beer and the GF, towels for keeping sand out the "privates", as "might as well mess around", and camped for the night! Got towed back daylight, but that was a $600 "screw". One off the old Switzercraft, and the pay back, the GF. Chit happens!

The original white ring cracked and fell off in 1977. They started using black ones right about that time (which I didn't like). I found a replacement white ring in 1982, hope to have it installed by 2015.:D
