Just wondering if anyone knows a good way to Have the trim cutout at a predetermined height?
I am trying to setup one of my boats to do a circuit race, this particular hull is very sensitive to excessive trim, so it would be nice if i could leave the corner & just trim up & have it cut out at the right spot, rather than trying to watch the gauge!
it is on a merc XR6 with the integral or three ram clamp!

Yes. A limit switch in the boat. I've been thinking about making some up if there's any interest. It would be just like the one Galen Burden used to make

Should be able to get a waterproof "push-button" style switch. And build / bend / drill a small bracket to hold it in a position that activates the switch at the desired trim height. I bet for under $20 and a few hours (less if no beer is involved) in the driveway you can rig up something pretty slick.
