one night on bow watch leaving saudi in the gulf I herd that familiar sound of a big O/B off the port and coming probably a hundred yards across our bow, pitch black, never saw a thing. fun out

Chris for some reason that clip reminded me of the Live fires out at Los Lobos island in the PI. Where we would get on the Bull horn and tell the locals in their boats to clear out. After they didn't we would fire a 50 cal shot across their bow. After the live fire they would return. We would trade brass for some of the coolest and best hand made Knives anywhere.

Bud, I remember those day's well, I remember taking a trip out to Doomagetti, near Caviti, we were going to dive an underwater Volcano, unbenounced to us it was a great place for the locals to go squid hunting, air compressors on their Bonka boats with just straight hose in their mouths:nonod::eek::eek::eek: We did plenty of trading at the end, and like you said, some of the coolest knives and sheaths I've ever seen !
