Restoring inline 6 / 90hp and trying to see if anyone can point me the right direction to locate new decals for engine. Looked at multiple web sites of all type with no luck. Any help with this and tips for removing old decals from metal cowling would be very helpful. Will post pictures of 79 Viper and 90hp inline 6 same year for sale very soon. Hope everyone wets prop soon! Thanks, Mike

What year is your 90?
As far as removing the old decals, try to pull the majority of them off the best you can. Then try using some denatured alcohol w/ a rag to rub off what is left. If that doesn't work well, try Goof-Off, but try in a small area first to make sure you don't screw up the paint under the decal.

Use a hair dryer to heat em up, and release the glue.

I have some really cool Mercury "Colorized" decals for the inline. Mercury made these in the late '70's in yellow, green and red. I think I still have a red set and some others. If you are interested send me a P.M.
